These fun and colorful earrings were inspired by the color theory of Josef Albers and the colorful eye paintings of Ito Jakuchu's underwater creatures in his "Pictures of the Colorful Realm of Living Beings" scrolls.  

They are made in the centuries old technique of cloisonne.
